Frankie & Francesca, Two strong and loyal characters that have been with me since we opened and have always had the TT in their hearts.
For me, it’s been a pleasure for me to see them both develop into their management roles. They both help to nurture our young front of house team – training is key to good customer service. We consistently get comments that we have friendly staff who show they enjoy their jobs. This filters down from them as they do also, so they make it a nice environment to be in.
Recently we had staff training where Frankie and Francesca focused on their core values for good service. Being prompt and attentive without rushing. Our ethos is for guests to enjoy their dining experience without being worried that their table is required for someone else later on. The friendly welcome is all important, taking a genuine interest and keeping our guests needs at the forefront of service – it’s been great to see the young team embrace these values.
Recently we’ve focused on more personalised service in our private dining room. Frankie & Francesca have tailored a range of events from day conferences and meetings to weddings and baby showers and we all love a special birthday and the Top of the Trout is a perfect room for a celebration.
The Top of the Trout accommodates up to 25 guests, so if you’re thinking where to go for your special occasion drop Frankie or Francesca a line as they simply love working with you to create an unforgettable event.
We do regular updates and newsletters and a recent event was the Barlow Gin Festival so keep a look out on our website or register with us for the newsletter. It was a great success as F&F are really passionate about gin and they sourced lots of amazing gins from around the world of which my next blog will elaborate.
